A clear acrylic frame that fixes to the wall on four polished chrome standoffs, holding your photo, print or A4 certificate a little way off the plaster so it appears to float.

There is no border and no glass. Your content sits between two sheets of high-clarity acrylic, lifted clear of the wall so light gets behind it and it throws a soft shadow. It is the gallery-wall look, in something you can open and change yourself in about a minute.

Getting the size right - worth two minutes

Every frame here is named after its outer sheet, not the window you look through. Four standoffs sit 1.5-2cm inside each edge, and that border takes a bite out of the display area. Choose on the display area column rather than the frame name and you will get it right first time.

Framing a certificate, degree or diploma? Order the A3. It is the only size here with a window big enough for a full A4 sheet. The A4 frame is named for its outer edge and will not take one.

And the thing we would rather say now than have you discover on the doorstep: none of these frames shows a full A3 sheet. The largest window we make is 26.7 x 39cm, which is the A3 frame. If you need A3 artwork or an A3 poster displayed at full size, this is not the frame for the job.

Peel it before you judge it

Both panels ship with film on both faces - four films per frame. Take all of them off before mounting. Until you do, the acrylic looks cloudy and slightly grey. That is the film, not the frame.

It arrives boxed with every fixing inside, so there is nothing to wrap and nothing to buy separately. A graduation, a new home, a wedding, a retirement, a birthday with a nought in it - anywhere someone has something worth putting on a wall.

Questions we get asked

Will it take a full A4 certificate?

The A3 will, with room around it. The A4 frame gives you roughly 18 x 26.7cm, which is right for a 5x7 photo or an A5 sheet, but not for a full A4.

Will the A3 frame show a full A3 sheet?

No. The A3 name refers to the outer sheet at 29.7 x 42cm; the standoff border reduces the window to about 26.7 x 39cm. It is built around A4 documents and certificates, not A3 artwork.

How does it go on the wall?

Four chrome standoff screws with wall anchors, all supplied. Drill, push in the anchors, mount the standoffs, then sandwich your content between the panels. The gap it leaves is what makes the floating effect.

Is the clear part glass?

No, acrylic. It reads as glass but weighs less and will not break into pieces.

Can I hang it either way up?

Yes - it is symmetrical, so portrait or landscape is your choice.

Can I change what is in it later?

Easily. Loosen the four caps, swap the contents, tighten them again. About a minute, and the frame stays on the wall.

Do I have to buy just one?

No. The pack dropdown offers a single frame, a pair, or a set of four for a gallery wall.
